1 package Pecos Red Chili Mix · 2 lbs ground beef (or other meat) · 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce · 3 cups (24 oz) water. Cooking time: about 1 hour. Makes 1½ quarts (6 cups).
Chili Blend A — the deep base, goes in first. Chili Blend B — the bright finish, last twenty minutes. Hot pepper packet — optional; adjust the recipe for your desired spiciness.
